here “Hic manebimus optime,” or “here we will stay, most excellently”, is a Latin quote that could be used to describe the attitude we must possess while living during the deep freeze of winter in Winnipeg. Resilience against these frigid conditions is one thing, but to thrive in this climate time and time again despite its vicious bite is a key characteristic of the people who live, work, and play in our city. So on February 20, let’s show ’em exactly what we’re made of! Let’s carpe that freaking noctem and watch as a new crop of creatives take the Park Theatre stage to present their stories, work, and ideas for Volume 37 of PechaKucha Night Winnipeg! Ars longa, vita brevis, after all.
