REVIEWS FRESH FROM OUR FANTASIA 2019 PREMIERE:
“[Goes] beyond the usual ‘isn’t this fun’ platitudes of a fan documentary to explore how growing up in a cold, isolated area like Winnipeg shapes a person’s sensibilities, as well as how the internet has changed the nature of fandom. Grade: B” – AV Club
“With its constantly delightful nature, it’s a universally appealing testament to how loving a piece of art—and in this case, both a soundtrack and a movie—is one of the most special connections any human being can have.” – RogerEbert.com
“Imminently watchable… It may not always make sense to outsiders, but to these fans, it is simply a fact of life. And that’s kinda beautiful.” ????/5 Skulls” – Bloody Disgusting
“A heartfelt take on, as interviewee Kevin Smith says, “people finding themselves and their religion.” It is hilarious while also being respectful, and is a love letter less to De Palma’s film than it is to a special, easily overlooked city & its people” – Rue Morgue
