Piel Canela has quickly risen to become one of the most popular flamenco rumba bands in Jalisco, Mexico - a population of almost 9 million people. They are a joy to watch, a pleasure to hear, and force to experience on the dance floor. From fiery Spanish flamenco guitar duos to Latin jazz, salsa, flamenco, and rumba Influences with soulful Latin vocals – this band is as good as it gets for live Latin dance music. They bring two countries together, singing in both Spanish and English.
Fernando Gonzalez, guitarist and producer, leads the band with his sultry vocals and impeccable technique.
Luis Rascón Pantoja is a multi-talented muscician with all his instruments, he delivers a musical passion that ends with a melody you won't soon forget.
Perla Alarcón is a singer and composer and recorded her first album in Malaga, Spain in 2010. Her music has been part of large-scale events and an American series, Bachelor in Paradise. With more than twenty years of artistic trajectory, Perla has stepped onto national and international stages.
Alberto Ramirez, known as “Mimi” is known for his overall musical versatility but his main focus and love for music lies within him and his guitar. His flamenco styles playing both Spanish and electric guitar have opened many opportunities for him to collaborate in various musical projects and festivals with many different artists in Mexico and abroad.
Every band member brings their own personal touch and talent to this band.
